Austin Pet Spotters finds lost pets like it's our job because our job is finding lost pets.  On Memorial Day, 2006, Austin Sherrill's six-year old African Spurred Tortoise, Spot, escaped out the back yard of Sherrill's Austin home.  Sherrill and roommate Ben Balagia then embarked on a six-day journey through the city of Austin, TX to find the 40 pound pet.  The following Sunday evening, after a week of posters, hundreds of flyers, and endless calls to shelters and pet stores, Sherrill received the greatest phone call of his life.  Spot had been located at Town Lake, where Sherrill and Balagia had posted signs two days earlier.  The jogger who found Spot carried him for over a mile down the trail before he came across one of the posters.  He called Sherrill, and well...The rest is history.  We found Spot.  Lost your pet?
